Black garlic is made by ageing (fermenting) regular garlic. The cloves are soft, dark brown to black in colour. The flavours are deep, almost caramelised with a wonderful sweet sour balance. There is a strong umami kick and flavours of aged balsamic, black cardamom, smoke, tamarind and liquorice. It is very antioxidant rich.
Tasmanian grown and produced black garlic cloves are blended with pure Tasmanian sea salt.
